The Lakelands and inland Waterways World Pairs Angling Championship brings the
enjoyment back into match fishing! Not only is it hosted in the land of craic where you can meet over a pint of the black stuff to discuss the day's catch but it's real wild fishing in the countryside. There are no big carp to be bagged here, this is traditional wild coarse fishing in the Lakelands region of Ireland amongst spectacular scenery, where you have a chance to catch 100lbs of Bream, and quality bags of Hybrid and Roach. Fishing in Pairs is exciting as is the suspense of who will be the World Pairs Champions in 2013! Entry is open - no qualifiers - great sponsorship - what more could you ask for? The Lakelands and inland Waterways initiative, both government fisheries bodies
and local councils in Ireland have come together once again to provide sponsorship for this successful match providing a guaranteed prize fund of €30,000 for the Pairs! Add this to the £8,000 in tackle sponsorship from DAIWA and the optional Individuals Match running inside the Pairs, and this is still the richest coarse match in Ireland!
