Unlike many Irish festivals where entry money is 'pools' and the payout dependant on the number participating, for the World Pairs the entire €30,000 sponsorship from Lakelands & Inland Waterways has been assigned to the prize fund. The Daiwa Cup Individuals Match will run inside the World Pairs giving you the opportunity to win more. Details coming soon...... The World Pairs is a five day match fished over five different daily venues with sections fished in Fermanagh, Cavan and Leitrim. Anglers will draw their rotation on the evening of Sunday 8th September, fishing commences on Monday the 9th and concludes with a grand presentation on Friday 13th (it will be lucky for some!)
We listen to everyone's feedback on the event and previously made way for those fishing the Div One to get to Ireland for the Pairs. However, after further consultation the original five day event is preferred and will therefore remain. Thank you to those anglers who are hot footing it across the Irish Sea directly from the National to attend. |
