The National Coarse Fishing Federation of Ireland have once again appointed Michael Fitzpatrick as the official referee for the World Pairs. The NCFFI recent hosts of the 4th FIPSed World Feeder Fishing Championships is the management body for coarse anglers on the island of Ireland and focuses on all aspects related to angling as well as managing the international teams to CIPS level.

A recently retired fisheries inspector with 40 years experience in fisheries management Michael is widely known as the official referee for the Fermanagh Classic, currently sponsored by Waterways Ireland, a position he has held for over 20 years. He is also an experienced match angler having represented Ireland as a member of NCFFI Team Ireland attending the CIPS World Championships, World Club Championships, Home International events and is a former winner of the ‘NCFFI All Ireland’
